"Werewolves and vampires, oh my!"

Nikia has just recovered from a coma and now she must return to her native Corsova to pay for atempting to kill her sister, the Protector of Corsova. Nikia is considered dangerous, so to ensure that she returns her sister sends a male Makheet with special tracking abilities to escort Nikia home.

Atar is a member of a race of shapeshifters. When he is hired by the Protector of Corsova to capture Nikia and return her to Corsova he thinks it's just another job. although he is able to locate Nikia quickly he has a more difficult time holding her.

Nikia tries to convinence Atar that she is innocent but he does not believe the story she tells him about spirit posession. When Atar finds himself falling for Nikia he is torn between doing what he was hired to do and letting her go.

This is book four in a series. It's an interesting story and I enjoyed it. Atar's abillities are interesting and I hope Ms. Tunstall will continue to develop this series.

Summary
