"Truly a Wonderful Story!"

Lili Alster has a problem. Her whole family is getting together to celebrate her grandmother's anniversary and she told them she would be bringing her fiancé. The only problem is, she doesn't have one. Lili really hasn't dated since the death of her fiancé three years ago. She has no desire for a boyfriend. She's still dealing with the emotional baggage from that relationship. So what does Lili do? She hires one, of course. She goes to Love Match and hires an escort to act as her fiancé for the week-long vacation. Her plan is to then stage a break-up for her family's benefit. Just as she's leaving to go back to work, she ends up in a collision. The man is so sincerely contrite, Lili can't be mad at him.

Lili shows up at the arranged time to meet the man she hired. And she waits. And waits. Just as she finally decides five more minutes and that's it, he shows up. It turns out to be none other than the man who ran into her. Now that Lili gets a good look at him, he really is very attractive.

Hal hasn't been having very good luck lately. He's such a klutz. He was told one more complaint against him at Love Match and he would be fired. He has to do a good job on this assignment. He really needs the money, especially since he's back in school. He can't believe his luck when he finally sees Lili. She's a knock out! He finds himself attracted to her and wishing she weren't just a "job".

LOVE MATCH had me laughing out loud as I was reading it. This story is one mishap after another. My favorite scene was when Hal was "fixing" the radiator and ended up giving Lili a black eye. This story isn't all humor though, as both Lili and Hal have to come to terms with the relationships in their respective pasts. The story moves quickly and never bogs down. The characters are all well written and easily identified with. This is truly a wonderful story and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Summary
