"An English professor falls for a handsome younger man"
Professor of Victorian literature Antigone "Annie" Armstrong
has always been the good girl, trying in vain to live up to
the impossible standards of her parents. Though she longs to
shed her inhibitions, Annie knows that she's nothing
compared to her mother. Not smart enough, not pretty enough.
As much as she desires the handyman restoring the house
Annie inherited from her grandmother, Annie knows he's too
young and too handsome for a wallflower like her. Right? Jack-of-all-trades Kevin Turner never has found a place to
call home. After years of struggling in school, his dyslexia
has limited his job options to manual labor tasks. If he
can't read, he has no business with an English professor.
Kevin does have an analytical mind; he just hasn't used it
much. As Kevin learns about the woman behind the cool
façade, he realizes that although they have nothing in
common, he wants Annie. And his family falls in love with
her as well. What is a man determined to set down no roots
to do? Two people with self-confidence problems learn to deal with
their issues with the help of the other. Kevin's dyslexia
doesn't make him stupid and Annie's shyness doesn't mean
she's unattractive. But no promises have been made. Is this
a fling or something more? Neither wants to pressure the
other into more than they're willing to give. Unless Kevin
or Annie speaks up, their relationship is fated to fade away
like the spring wildflowers. The final book in the Time series, THE TIME OF HER LIFE
features a slightly older heroine with a handsome young man.
We get a glimpse at the lives of the other Turner siblings
as they deal with their own marriages and children. Fans of
the series shouldn't miss the conclusion to Ms. Harte's
contemporary series. Sensuality: Rated E-rotic by the publisher. Explicit sex,

Time Series 4
SummaryNo two ways about it, Dr. Antigone Armstrong, professor of
Victorian literature, has the hots for her handyman. He's
young, he's gorgeous, and he's VERY good with his hands...at
least when it comes to renovating her house. When it comes
to relationships, though, Annie constantly flunks out, and
getting naked with her hunky handyman is out of the question.
Kevin Turner doesn't quite know what to do. Annie Armstrong
is way out of his league. She's smart, she's sexy, and to
his amazement, she actually takes him seriously. Kevin has
managed to avoid commitment, but something about the
oh-so-proper Dr. Armstrong is causing second thoughts
Kevin and Annie know their fantasies about each other will
never come true. But when dreams collide with reality, both
of them are in for the time of their lives.
Revisit the Turner family—Jen, Cee Cee, Molly, and now
Kevin—as Treva Harte finishes up her charming Time series
with Annie Armstrong and Kevin's story of love as only a
Turner can do it—one that will last throughout Time.
