"The sparks fly when two erotica authors come together"
Erotica author Charlie Gibson can't get any respect. Sure,
he writes bestsellers, but he has to go out on blind dates
set up for him. And when his dates learn what he does for a
living, they all think of him as a porn king. When will
Charlie find a woman who appreciates his books for what they
are? He writes erotic romance, damn it. Author Candace "Candy" Whitman is trying to make the switch
from young adult novels to erotica. Along the way, she's
experienced a few roadblocks and encountered some lechers.
Unable to find a critique group who will help her polish up
her writing, she decides to go to a sensual writer's
conference held locally. There, she literally bowls over a
fellow author. Turns out he's a bestselling erotica author
and is willing to be her mentor. Charlie proposes five lessons to teach Candy about the
basics of erotica -- from setting romantic scenes, different
positions, toys, various locations, and role-playing.
Quickly the lessons become much more "hands-on" than either
of them anticipated. Soon both Charlie and Candy want
more than just the lessons; will they be brave enough to
fess up about their feelings? Candy finds the experiences
with Charlie to be an inspiration to her newest novel. Will
Charlie still want her after learning that his erotica
lessons play a role in her new book? The tension between Candy and Charlie is electrifying. I'm
so glad that the author avoided the opportunity for a big
misunderstanding at the end. I really enjoyed getting to
read snippets of Candy's novel as she wrote it. AUTHORS IN
ECSTASY is truly that -- two authors discovering what real
love is for the first time. Ms. Andre's debut novel with
Ellora's Cave is a real winner. Don't miss it! Sensuality: Rated NC-17 by the publisher. Explicit sex,
light bondage, public sex, mild spanking; sexually explicit
scenes: 14.

SummaryCandace, a newcomer to writing erotica, is thrilled when
Charlie, a veteran of the industry, agrees to be her
mentor. But neither of them ever expected that Charlie's
lesson plan for how to write erotica—new positions, using
toys, varying locations, and role playing—would spiral from
verbal instruction into hot, hands-on education.
Unfortunately, Candace's deception about the new romance
she's writing—-where Charlie plays the starring role—-is
about to threaten their one chance at true love.
