Summary

David Fraser is lost at sea, his situation seemingly hopeless. He's given up on hope of rescue when a storm overwhelms his tiny craft.

But the storm doesn't kill him. Instead, he awakens on a tiny island off the coast of Scotland, rescued by a beautiful, mysterious woman who lives alone on the island's seaward side.
