REVIEW

"A fast paced erotic romance mystery that is sure to keep you turning the pages."

Estelle Racine owns one of the finest brothels in Washington DC, Maison D'Estelle. While walking along Pennsylvania Avenue she wrenches her ankle. Lieutenant James Goodwin of the Third Pennsylvania Cavalry is riding by and rescues her.

A year goes by and James is wounded in battle. After recovering, he is assigned to the Provost Marshals office in Washington.

Estelle has never forgotten him and he hasn't forgotten her. He shows up at her brothel and over the next few months they fall in love. What James doesn't know is that Estelle has a past that is about to catch up to her.

When a man is found dead at her back gate, James vows to do everything he can to help find the real murderer. Estelle knows that the military isn't going to look far or deep for the real killer. She is in danger of being arrested for the murder. It doesn't help her case when several people have said that she knew the murdered man and he had threatened her. Estelle decides to do her own investigating and find the murderer herself.

The erotic love scenes between James and Estelle will have you fanning yourself and they almost set the pages on fire. The mystery keeps this story from being one dimensional.

This is a writer to watch for. I can't wait for the second book in this series to come out. I want to see where this duo will go with their love and their partnership in solving mysteries.
