Professor Iain Dampier teaches European history and debunks vampire myths. What better place for a vampire to hide than in plain sight? He is instantly attracted to a pretty young woman who attends his lectures. He knows that she is more than she seems when he sees that she's wearing a wig to disguise herself.

AnnaBelle Blue is a vampire hunter, descended from a long line of vampire hunters. She doesn't know why her uncle Fauster asked her to travel to New York from her home base in Paris. Once she arrives in New York, he insists that she test out a new film he's developed which detects vampires. She reluctantly agrees to go to Iain's lectures and take pictures of the attendees.

Iain and AnnaBelle both have secrets. Can they truly share passion without revealing their closely held secrets? What will Iain do when he learns that AnnaBelle is a vampire hunter? What will AnnaBelle do when she realizes that the man to whom she is attracted is a vampire?

Questions swirl in the air throughout this story. What is Fauster up to and why has he disappeared? Why is Simon, a powerful vampire, in New York when Fauster goes missing? Who is after the new film? What family secrets do the Blue family have and are they better left buried?

Iain and AnnaBelle set the sheets on fire in this novel. BLOOD DREAMS will appeal to fans of the vampire genre. For readers who don't like gore, don't worry. Blood drinking, while present, is not a central point in this vampire world. Toward the end, I began to be concerned by unresolved plot threads. I am relieved to say that a sequel is in the works, hopefully answering many unanswered questions.

Summary

AnnaBelle Blue is a modern woman. She lives in Paris, supports herself, and is happy with her life. That changes when her uncle calls for help in New York. Being the child of Vampire Hunters, AnnaBelle is a highly educated hunter. Of course, there are very little slayings these days, so long as everyone obeys the rules.

Rushing to New York, AnnaBelle soon finds herself strongly drawn to the handsome professor, Iain Dampier. Each time their eyes meet, she feels desire shooting through her body. She wants him like she's never wanted another man.

But the professor has some secrets...
