REVIEW

"A lucky leprechaun leads three lads to love."

Three former suitors are drinking at the wedding reception of a woman they all once knew. One of the men convinces the others to take advantage of being in Ireland to seek out a leprechaun. Once they catch the leprechaun (in a most unusual way), the leprechaun convinces them to accept their heart's greatest desire instead of his pot of gold.

Sticks and Stone by Jennifer Dunne

Wealthy American Dermot Stone, voted the year's most eligible bachelor, believes that magic could be real. He instigates the trio's search and capture of a leprechaun. So when Dermot stumbles upon a dryad (a tree nymph), he thinks she's his wish. Unfortunately, Dermot didn't realize that a dryad will literally "love" a man to death.

Priestess of the light (a white witch) Eileen Daniells rescues the foolish foreigner who fell into the dryad's trap. The sap of the dryad can be fatal and must be removed by bodily fluids. Sex appears to be the only solution. Eileen discovers that the stranger has a secret: he needs to be spanked quite firmly to achieve orgasm.

Dermot's privacy concerns are a real stumbling block to any future relationship. Can two people from different worlds have a future together?

A Wolf by Any Other Name by Kate Douglas

Programming nerd Zevulun Cable wakes up in a dungeon tied to a bed and being fondled by twin witches. Witches Petunia and Verbena are taking a course on shapeshifters and need one for their lab project. Their textbooks say that extreme pain or pleasure can cause a shapeshifter to shift. But Zev isn't a shapeshifter, is he?

Fern, a woodsprite, is also a captive of the witches. She was captured by them when their first conjuring produced her instead of a shapeshifter. Woodsprites are asexual beings, so why is Fern feeling sensations that's she's never experienced before? Fern can read auras and she can tell that Zev is a werewolf. Too bad he doesn't know how to shift and help them to escape.

Sensuality: Rated NC-17 by publisher. Explicit sex, nonconsensual sex (performed by captors), oral sex, anal play, anal sex (dildo), threesome, masturbation, bondage; sexually explicit scenes: 8.

The Public Eye by Chris Tanglen

Lawyer Greg Tennerson returns from Ireland, believing the leprechaun to be a hoax. He's back in the US and doesn't have his greatest desire, whatever that is. That's before he wakes up with the perfect woman in bed beside him. The only catch is, Vivian will only have sex with him in public places with the danger of getting caught.

Greg doesn't believe that public sex is his greatest desire, but temptation gets the better of him. After several sessions of public sex, both successful and interrupted, Greg senses that something is missing from the relationship. Sure, no-strings-attached sex is a guy's dream, but Greg wants more. He wants a woman with whom he can be friends as well as lovers. But how can he get rid of Vivian?

Summary

Three men and a leprechaun? When Dermot, Greg and Zev meet at the wedding of a past lover, the little green guy offers each man a golden opportunity to possess his greatest desire. Unfortunately, figuring out what that greatest desire amounts to isn't as easy as it sounds...

Sticks and Stone by Jennifer Dunne: Wealthy, powerful, and recently voted the year's most eligible bachelor, Dermot Stone had it all. But he wanted more. He wanted magic. Irish witch Eileen Daniells had her hands full with a busy writing and teaching career. The last thing she needed was an arrogant American stirring up trouble among the faerie creatures in her woods. When a tree spirit appears and seduces him, Dermot thinks he's getting the wish the leprechaun promised -- only to discover it may cost him his life. Eileen uses her powers to save him, but Dermot must confess to his secret sexual longings before her rescue can be complete. Could she be the answer to his heart's deepest desire?

A Wolf By Any Other Name by Kate Douglas: When computer nerd Zevulan Cable awakens in a dungeon, bare-ass naked, chained to a bed as gorgeous identical twin witches have their sensual way with his body, he figures he's found his greatest desire, just as the leprechaun promised. Then why is the tiny, sexless woodsprite the one who captures his heart? And how can he explain his growing need to howl at the moon...?

The Public Eye by Chris Tanglen: Greg Tennerson figures the leprechaun was just an elaborate prank, but quickly changes his mind when he wakes up with Vivian in his bed. She's gorgeous. She's sexy. She's very much naked. In fact, she's Greg's vision of absolute female perfection. She's also more than willing to satisfy his every physical desire. Anything he wants. Any time he wants. As often as he wants. It's a fantasy come true for this successful attorney with his heart set on a career in politics...but there's a catch. Because Vivian will only have sex with him in public. And only if there's danger of getting caught!

Sexual Content: NC-17.
