"Book 2 in the Death Row trilogy"

It has been several weeks since Dr. Nellie Kan escaped her captor, death row inmate Kerick Riley. Even though Nellie is still in the Outside looking for a serum for the illness that killed her mother, she can't stop thinking about Kerick. She wonders if he's forgotten her or if he's just gone out and taken another woman.

Kerick can't stop thinking about Nellie. For fifteen years he controlled his bodily needs while he was on death row but now he hasn't stopped looking for her since she escaped him. His brother Kieran found and claimed a woman of his own but all Kerick can feel is pain now that Nellie is gone. No other woman appeals to him. After searching for her for weeks he finally finds and captures her again.

This is the second book in the Death Row trilogy and can't stand on it's own. I highly recommend reading DEATH ROW: THE FUGITIVE first. This was another quick, enjoyable read. The main characters become more developed in this story. Ms. Black writes books that are more explicit than sensual, which may offend some readers. Some of the story lines in this trilogy may be offensive to some due to non- consensual sexual contact.
