"vampires, shapeshifters and hot sex"
Her name is Briana. A brillant career woman, she is still
looking for the right man to share her life. She has had a
lot of affairs but they were never completely fulfilling,
like something was missing... but she couldn't put her
finger on it. She decides to take a break and spend some
holidays alone to relax. His name is Raynor. He is a wolfman. For years, he has been
looking for his mate. Why did it take so long for Briana to
realize it was her destiny to share his life? For years,
he has tried to call for her in her dreams. When they meet
at last, she can't believe that she is a shapeshifter as
well, and she escapes before Raynor has time to prevent her
and teach her what she has to know to accept what she is. Trying to escape, Briana runs into the Time Portal and
finds herself in the fourteenth century in England. Raynor
comes to rescue her. But the only way to go back in their
time is to make love until they stay fully in human form
without shifting to prove that they are truly bonded. It's
easier to say than to do. There is a lot of work for
Briana, who cannot yet control her other self. This is the first book of a trilogy, so there are many
unresolved questions at the end. In this book, you have
vampires, shapeshifters and hot sex. The author did some
good research on the 14th century. The evolution of the
relationship should be very interesting in the second book,
because the true learning of Briana is going to begin under
the custody of Raynor. Sensuality Level: NC-17. Reviewed by Céline Ageneau for Sensual Romance.
