"A sex-packed, adult adaptation of the fairy tale."

Through some quirk of fate (which is not revealed), Emma Hansell and Michael Gretty get back in touch with each other years after their first attraction. Indulging in hot phone sex works great for them, although they both secretly wish for something more.

When Emma finally has it with her father's lack of backbone and disregard for her professional abilities, she moves across the country and joins Michael at Enchanted Cottage, Inc. They work well together, and things are definitely working out on the relationship front, until their own wicked witch -- Jasmine Wietsch -- and the big bad wolf -- Max Wolfe to be exact -- try to seduce, and then force, Emma and Michael into sabotaging Enchanted Cottage, Inc.

Michael and Emma are not going to allow the sinfully wicked witch and her bad boy wolf to get in the way of their happiness, or destroy Enchanted Cottage for their own personal gain.

HANSELL AND GRETTY is a sex-packed, adult adaptation of the fairy tale. While the sex was hot (and in great abundance) the storyline seemed a bit flat. I can't quite pinpoint the exact problem, it just seemed that the story was a bit forced, the dialog (other than when Emma and Michael were on the phone) seemed off, and the plot was a wee bit lacking.

The fact that Michael and Emma almost allowed themselves to be seduced while professing to love each other bothered me. That they could be turned on by others is natural, but the inability Emma expressed to control her libido was disappointing.

The way Michael and Emma go about setting up Jasmine Wietsch was a bit unnerving. Yes, good is supposed to beat evil (in kid and adult fairy tales both), but did they have to sink to her level? It's one thing to beat her at her own game and to turn her rules back at her, but they end up lying to others and to me that seems wrong.

Summary
