"The Dumont Family Saga Continues - erotic vampires"

Though her brothers have found their respective bloodlusts, the last thing that vampire latent Katie Dumont wants is to fall into that bond. Her job as a callgirl -- a profession she greatly enjoys -- means that sex with multiple partners is just another facet of her life. Finding a bloodlust is sure to complicate that. Even worse would be if her bloodlust were human, as the women her brothers found were. Of course, her intense interest in her once-client Mark Lewis doesn't strike her as anywhere near odd. The man she wants, after all, is the full-blooded vampire Aleksei ... a man who holds a secret that will shake the foundations of the entire Dumont clan.

The story reaches beyond Katie, though, touching upon the lives of all the Dumont vampires. Mikhail and Serge return, as well as their bloodlusts, and the trials and enemies from (what the reviewer assumes are) previous volumes are still running around wreaking havoc and inciting tempers best left docile. Faithful readers will no doubt be happy to see more of the characters, while newcomers will find the twisting plot threads intriguing.

BLOODLUST 3: FORBIDDEN DESIRES is a no-holds-barred erotic tale featuring a family of hot-blooded vampires and their lovers. It is the third in a series, though the first two are not necessary for comprehension. While the story is sexy as hell, it certainly isn't a novel for the timid or for someone looking for a sweetly emotionally romance.

Those who haven't read one of Ms. Lee's titles should be told that her prose is very, very explicit, and that her stories routinely feature vaguely taboo sexual habits. A common scene is one in which a family member either watches or participates in one or more sexual encounters. BLOODLUST 3 is no exception -- Lee indulges in a celebratory fest in this novel that the characters fondly call the "Family Fuck Fest", where everyone shares partners with everyone else. This is not a dirty or shameful practice, but a cultural difference that is presented as tacit fact. Lee's characters revel in their sexual freedoms and find pleasure in all types of physical exploration. Fearless readers, and those who crave a romantic/erotic story that pushes the boundaries, will find themselves well pleased by this third volume in the ongoing Bloodlust series.

Sensuality Level: This book has been rated NC17 by the publisher. It contains very graphic sex, incidences of three-partner sex, loads of anal sex, and one scene of male homosexual intercourse.
