REVIEW

"True gentle men for heroes"

Sensuality--NC17, explicit language, single partner sex.

"Sister's Keeper" Kelly comes to Damon's home to give him a "Dear John" message from her identical twin Karen. It only takes one kiss from Damon, though, to make Kelly realize that this is the man she wants. As her relationship with Damon escalates, how will she find the courage to tell him she's not who he thinks she is?

"Addicted" Lena needs an out when crowded at her friend's wedding by Chuck. Marc provides it and so much more. But will he also provide a broken heart?

"White Heat" When Tasha's police officer husband Steve is killed in the line of duty, will she ever be able to forgive his white partner for not preventing it? Even though Jake was Steve's best friend and like a second father to their son, she can't help but resent that he is the one who survived. But it's possible, with the loss of his best friend and now his friend's family, he just might not...

All of the stories have realistic heroines and true gentle men for heroes. The stories are well written and the story lines (which each story actually has) are good. In the first two, the hero is quite a bit older than the heroine. I don't often like these type all that well, but it worked in these stories. My favorite, though, was the last one. Usually I don't care for sad stories and this one brought me to tears, but I really liked it. I must admit to a dislike of reference to a woman's vulva as her "pussy" and since this was the word of choice my enjoyment was limited. Even that, though, does not prevent me from unrestrictedly recommending this book.
