Mikhel Dumont and Erica Kalai are back in this sequel to THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT. This time Erica is pregnant. Does she want to keep the baby? If her future mother-in-law has any say in it, Erica will tell Mikhel about it, and soon. Deoctra, a full-blooded vampire who thinks Mikhel is her own personal property, is back and she still wants vengeance against Erica.

But BLOODLUST II is Serge Dumont's turn. Derri Morgan has her fortune told, and is told that lust, passion, love, and danger all wait in her future. Walking back to work, Derri nearly takes a header into traffic by not watching where she's going. When a tall handsome stranger catches her, he makes her feel things in public that make her uncomfortable.

Back at work, Derri is introduced to Mikhel, who has been hired by her boss to head up a security detail for her. Derri has been receiving weird phone calls, believes someone is stalking her. On her boss' order, Derri goes to The Retreat with Mikhel to relax and be safe for the weekend. When Derri has another one of her nightmares, Serge shows up to save her. Aleksei (Alex) Madison, a full- vampire and good friend of Mikhel helps protect Derri from the vampire haunting her dreams. Why does Mikhel like Alex, and yet Serge doesn't trust him?

Serge needs to keep his thoughts focused on protecting Derri not on making love to her. While Serge complains to himself that all Derri thinks about his huge size, he finds himself getting lost in thoughts of how many different ways he can make love to Derri.

When Derri finally comes to the realization that she wants Serge, BLOODLUST II becomes awesome. Though Derri starts out as a real wimp, she eventually sees that her feelings for Serge do not make her weak person. Derri eventually understands the saying you can't judge a book by its cover, even though the cover is yummy Serge. That Serge is a sum of all his parts not just the ones that Derri would like to fool around with.

BLOODLUST II once again shows that Ms. Lee can top what was an absolutely lustful ride of BLOODLUST featuring Mikhel and Erica. Be prepared to see Serge, fangs bared, protecting and fucking. Ms. Lee surpasses herself with BLOODLUST II, and finally one man doesn't find a woman that's an easy pushover. Serge will have to court the women of his choosing. Good luck Serge, this isn't going to be a piece of cake.
