"A Story That Will Leave You Feeling "Caressed"!"
Kay Freemont is a dyed-in-the-wool New Yorker, product of a
blue blood family, silver spoon and all that it implies,
engaged to the staggeringly dry and dull Lloyd -- and
secretly longing for a little something else in her life.
Like the rugged mountain man she recently encountered on a
return flight to New York. Quinn Scofield, traveling on a business trip to the Big
Apple from Bear Creek, Alaska, is immediately drawn to the
cool, polished beauty seated near him on the plane. Little
does he know that their paths are due to cross again. Quinn is in New York to meet with Metropolitan Magazine as
part of a feature on "The Bachelors of Bear Creek", where
men outnumber women 10 to 1, creating a unique mass
marketing opportunity for men looking for brides. After she
catches Lloyd wearing nothing but a pair of black socks and
a redhead, all the while accusing Kay of being frigid
(which of course necessitates his need to stray), Kay
decides that a little adventure is just the ticket. She
takes the assignment to go to Alaska and report about
the wife-hunt for the Bachelors of Bear Creek. She sees her
trip as an opportunity to explore her sensual nature, and
Quinn, ever the gentleman (and never one to pass up a
challenge), is only too happy to help. A TOUCH OF SILK reads exactly as its title. The attraction
between Quinn and Kay is smoldering, steamy, and not to be
denied. The characters and story line are vividly rendered,
and the ensuing search for Kay's elusive orgasm brings the
two together in an achingly romantic and sensual tale. I
LOVED this book, and at this very moment I'm ready to run
off to Alaska and find my own Mountain Man!
