Summary

Seeking to fill a heart left empty by the death of her fiancé, Kathryn Pierson conceived twins by artificial insemination. She thought. But one lonely night she turned to wetlands consultant Erik Solomon and found herself far too vulnerable to his sympathy ? and his desire. Eight years later they meet again, only to discover that time has not lessened the fiery attraction between them. When Erik encounters Kathryn's son, he sees his own face. The twins must be his. Now Kathryn is forced to face her feelings about him, how closely she is willing to let him share in her children's lives, if at all. Erik, who has never wanted a home, may never again gain enough staying power to make such a radical change work for her or her children.
