REVIEW

"Wrong Bed, Right Woman"

Former Special Ops Lt. Commander Trevor McQuillen is in a very uncomfortable position. He is helping his best friend's bride-to-be, on her wedding day. She is having a melt-down because her maid of honor, Viv, has not shown up. But it is Kate's fault for trying to reunite Viv with her ex-husband Eric. Trevor is not used to dealing with a woman in tears so he decides to bring Viv to the wedding himself. When he arrives at Viv's apartment he finds a very exhausted nurse who has just worked three straight shifts. Since she won't awaken he picks her up and takes her to the church. Nurse Christy Russell is sleeping at her friend Viv's apartment while hers is being remodeled. She is sleeping so soundly that she doesn't realize a stranger has carried her away until she finds herself at the church with no option but to slip into a dress two sizes too small and become a bridesmaid for the day. Trevor is instantly attracted to Christy, and as soon as she really wakes up she finds herself just as interested, but both think that there are too many obstacles to real romance. It will take a lot of work and willingness to trust if they are ever going to get together.

The plot of this book is well crafted, even with the somewhat unlikely premise of Trevor picking up the wrong girl, and her being too tired to stay awake long enough to explain the situation to him. Ms. Kauffman wove a story with great sexual tension, and I hoped from the start that these very likeable characters would have a lasting romance.
