"Sexy sizzler"

Well, the Big Easy lives on in spirit and fiction. The hot hot writing team of Tony and Lori a.k.a. Tori Carrington believe one spicy romance set in the French Quarter. Dark and Deadly is the impression women have of Cajun men, and bayou-born Claude Lafitte is the epitome of this delicious stereotype. With a name Lafitte, he has to be a modern day pirate, right? Yeppers, women flocked to Claude and he went through them like lining up for all-you-can-eat-salad bar. Only his addiction for variety of ladies on his arm and in his bed backfired big time when his a one-night stand ends up dead, and with Lafitte being the main suspect for murder in the first.

Rookie New Orleans FBI agent, Akela Brooks is hot on his trail and determined to make her case. She is a by the book lass, but finds pirates -- even modern day ones don't play by the rules when Lafitte decides the only way to convince the stubborn lass he is innocent is to take her hostage and seduce her into believing him.

Akela, poor lass (lol) finds her Lafitte as tricky and sexy as his name sake and while all the facts say not to trust this man, she cannot resist Claude.

The Carringtons at their very best and a look back at the Big Easy, when it was easy.
