REVIEW

"A wonderful story of the emotional bond between a master and a slave!"

Once again, we find ourselves on the paradise planet of Luna Ten. By this time, Cassie and Guy are having a wonderful time as bonded slave and master. This particular story deals with Cassie's sister, Doreen. The woman has sworn not to take a master as a mate. There is simply no way she will be submissive enough to be anyone's slave. After she fries her sexbot, and still doesn't achieve satisfaction, she begins to have doubts. Doreen decides there's no point in even replacing the molten pile of rubble that was once her sexbot. She wants a real man, someone flesh and blood. The reason why she can't achieve satisfaction is because she's only taking pleasure, not giving any in return.

Shedir is still on Earth. The man is totally focused on his career and will let nothing stop him from attaining his goals, even though he sees a quite a few problems with the cruelty of the Federation. Shedir now has a starship he flies on missions for the Federation and he's got some supplies to take to Luna Ten. Well, Guy decides since Shedir is coming to Luna Ten, the man might as well make his sister-in-law (of sorts) happy and find her a man.

Shedir finally arrives on Luna Ten with the supplies and meets Doreen. Talk about your sparks flying everywhere! The two of them could light Chicago! As Doreen spends more time with Shedir, she begins to question her decision on no master. Meanwhile, Shedir begins to question his career goals.

Will Shedir leave the Federation for Doreen? Will Doreen agree to become Shedir's slave?

LUNA TEN 2: SHEDIR is definitely a hot read. Ann Jacobs has done a wonderful job of portraying the emotional bond between a master and his slave in this story. She has done this in a beautiful and fantastic world, filled with sexbots and eunuchs. I really liked the "glade" with its flowering vines. If you like your science fiction filled with hot, erotic scenes and the idea of masters and slaves gets you going, don't miss this one!

Summary

Sassy Earthling Doreen Kelly loves Luna Ten, but damn it, she needs a man. A whole man who can meet her needs and help her do her share to populate the colony formed for refugees from the restrictive, totalitarian rulers of Earth's Federation. When sexy star commander Shedir offers her a trip to Earth, and help to find herself a likely mate, Doreen jumps at the opportunity. After all, her sex life has been pretty tame since she followed her friend Cassie here—since all the men on Luna Ten are taken, and she's had to make do with her sexbot and a couple of friendly eunuchs. She looks forward to the bondage games he suggests they play to while away the days while they're traveling. Shedir has no intention of settling down, and Doreen had no intention of falling in love. Doreen can't pick a mate, though -- not when all she really wants is a lifetime in Shedir's arms. Surprising himself, Shedir finds he wants Doreen all to himself -- but can he give up a promotion and the power that goes with it in order to claim his woman?
