"A great addition for Lori Foster fans."
Schoolteacher Julie Rose was kidnapped by a group of
ruffians; man-for-hire Clint Evans was hired by her former
fiance, Robert, to get her back. Clint found himself
inexplicably drawn to the small photo of Julie that Robert
gave him and while he couldn't quite put his finger on the
reason, Julie's kidnapping just didn't make sense,
especially after he had rescued her and she announced that
she did not have a fiance. Julie was boldly beginning to start a new life for herself
in Visitation, North Carolina. She suggests that she and
Clint do some romantic experimentation during their
remaining days together while the reasons behind her
kidnapping are brought to light. Clint isn't sure what to
think, but decides that he would prefer that her affair be
with him rather than with someone else. Heroes from previous books in this series are anticipated
and their presence is welcome as they assist Clint in
keeping Julie safe and in solving the puzzle of her
kidnapping. I have thoroughly enjoyed this Lori Foster series and, as
with any Lori Foster book, give it the highest
recommendation. Ms. Foster's characters have just enough
flaws to make them as real as your own family and friends.
Her heroes are always more than capable of protecting and
caring for the heroine, and they have those lovemaking
skills that keep us sighing. The secondary characters in
this book are known and loved by Lori Foster fans and it
was wonderful to have them pay another visit. Additional
bright spots are the characters still waiting for Ms.
Foster to tell their stories. Personally, I cannot wait! Reviewed by Laurie Damron for Sensual Romance.
