We left Susoma on Earth with the Vampire Sean Patrick at the end of DAUGHTERS OF TAKIRA 1: ONE NIGHT IN VEGAS. We now pick up our story with Susoma's younger sister, Kyla, still on Telmira and at the mercy of Aerostat. Kyla has never fit in with Telmiran society because of her looks. Whereas most Telmiran women are short and dark, Kyla is tall and blond with blue eyes. And that's not the worst of it, it's bad enough her mother is called Takira the Unnatural, now her sister is gone and it doesn't look like she's coming back. At least Kyla is happy for her. She won't end up being sent to the breeding farms or becoming some woman's sex toy. Telmira is a planet of same sex relationships, any heterosexual relationships are discouraged. The only thing Kyla has to look forward to is her "woman's journey" and now, she might not even get that.

After being whipped by Aerostat again, Kyla escapes to the home of her friend, Eros. His father is the greatest healer on the planet and Eros hopes to follow in his father's footsteps. Of course, he isn't exactly thrilled by the thought of mounting another male. His desires don't run in that direction and he's been having strange dreams lately, about a Telmiran Night Cat. When Kyla asks Eros to run away with her, he declines.

Will Kyla manage to escape her fate? Will the Compliance Agents catch her? And what of Eros? What of the strange dreams and desires he's been having? Will Kyla find her sister Susoma?

DAUGHTERS OF TAKIRA 2: KYLA'S AWAKENING is a highly erotic look at life on another planet. A planet where same sex relationships are encouraged and heterosexual relationships are discouraged, where those with power are allowed to take what they want and those without are basically forced into slavery. This story also ties in with Marilyn Lee's ROAD TO RAPTURE. I can't wait to see where Marilyn Lee will lead us next!

Summary

Born to a rebellious mother on a planet where dark, petite women cultivate lust for other women, Kyla's life has never been easy. A six foot tall, blue-eyed blond, more than her looks stand out. Kyla has no urge to couple with other females. Instead she lusts for Eros, the son of her planet's most accomplished healer. After yet another beating at the hands of her Uncle as punishment for her sister Susoma's failure to return from her woman journey to Earth, Kyla realizes the time is right for her to flee. Kyla knows that wherever she goes, she and her Night Cat companion will be hunted down.

Eros has always known he is different from other Telmiran males. It is his duty to celebrate male lust, yet Eros is torn by dual desires.
