Joanne Rock

RITA nominated author romance JOANNE ROCK has kept busy since her first sale, writing at least five books a year for three different Harlequin lines. A former Golden Heart winner, she has since won multiple awards as a published author, including a Romantic Times W.I.S.H. Award, the Scarlett Letter, the Winter Rose, the Beacon, an eHarlequin Golden Noodle and the Blue Boa. After writing 16 books for Harlequin, Joanne looks forward to her contemporary single title debut in early 2006 with Harlequin's Signature program. A former college teacher, public relations coordinator and copywriter, Joanne has a Master's degree in English from the University of Louisville and started writing romance when she became a stay-at-home mom. During the gypsy period of her life, she lived in six states within ten years, although she is a native of New York's Capital District. Now happily settled in the Adirondack Mountain region of upstate New York with her husband and three sons, Joanne stays close to home to read and write and watch the snow fall.
