Lori Wilde was a registered nurse for seventeen years before retiring to write romance novels full time. In 1999 she was nominated for Romance Writers Of America prestigious RITA award. This year she is double nominee in the Romantic Times Reviewer's Choice award and she was also a finalist in the Holt Medallion Contest.

She wrote eleven novels for Silhouette Romance under the pen name Laura Anthony.

She's published four books with Harlequin Duets and recently signed a contract to write a four book across the line series, two for Blaze and two for Duets, about four hunky Alaskan bachelors advertising for wives in the lower forty-eight states.

Lori lives in Texas with her own real life hero, Bill. A true believer in the adage you've got to live life to write about it, Lori has performed with a professional jazz band, traveled through Europe as a teenager, hiked volcanoes in Hawaii, shot river rapids in Alaska, taken flying lessons, parasailed, completed two marathons, water-skied, raced all terrain vehicles and chased after grisly bears in Yellowstone. Her hobbies include reading, long walks in the woods with her dog Cinnamon, yoga, going to the movies and cooking.
