"Sara Jarrod" is one of the alter egos of contemporary romance author Ann Josephson, who also writes erotic romances as Ann Jacobs. The Sara Jarrod books all feature ghost facilitators who bring lovers together despite all odds in hot, contemporary stories.

Ann published a total of eleven books and novellas between 1996 and 2002. Thirteen more, all "Ann Jacobs" romanticas, are scheduled for release in 2003 by Ellora's Cave.

A long-time Florida resident, Ann belongs to TARA and KOD chapters of RWA, EPIC and Authors Guild. She is currently treasurer of Novelists, Inc.
